 First Nations Productions Australia is an Indigenous founded and owned business investing in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

One of the ways we are investing is in First Nations Productions where First Nations filmmakers offer Australians and the world a unique insight into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander storytelling by them, about their diverse histories, cultures, lives and their connection to their land and sea Country. These productions are written, directed and produced by First Nations people for First Nations TV and partner broadcasters.

Featured on First Nations Productions are films, television series and documentaries that bring a different narrative spoken in different First Nations languages and English. Hosted by Traditional Owners and Custodians, sharing Indigenous knowledge and cultural traditions, viewers are taken on a cultural immersion on different land and sea Country, and sacred sites and places. Important to developing these cultural connection stories is the relationship with the environment, landscapes, waterways and all the birds, animals and  creatures  that inhabits these places.
